Web 2.0 FAQ

1- What was your knowledge of Web 2.0 before doing this lab?

  I before I entered into the library technology course I had heard of the term web 2.0 but was never sure of what it really was.  Little did I know that practically everyone in this day and age is using web 2.0 via Tumbler and other interactive social media.

2- What was your knowledge of Web 2.0 being used in libraries?

    My knowledge of libraries using web 2.0 was very limited. I was not expecting that libraries would have their own account on twitter or to find out that like web 2.0 there is now a library 2.0.

3- What is your opinion of the integration of Web 2.0 technologies in libraries today? 

I think that it’s a great idea.  It makes a lot of sense that libraries would want to incorporate newer technologies. They need to in order to keep people interested and to prove that libraries are still very relevant to society in this day and age.

4- At this point, how comfortable do you feel using/participating in Web 2.0 technologies such as blogging, podcasting or tweeting? 

I feel very comfortable using web 2.0, seeing as how I’ve  been using web 2.0 technology for a third of my life without even knowing it .
